Meet Jamie-lee, the visionary behind our equestrian riding school program.
With her vast knowledge and international success in both the hunter and jumper discipline, Jamie-Lee will create the perfect plan to achieve your goals, whether it be competitive or pleasure.
March 2011 marked the exciting new adventure for Jamie-lee as she became owner of the Allardyce Farm.
It had always been her dream to become an equestrian coach and horse trainer, and with all the support of her family, it became a reality.
Jamie-Lee is excited to share her knowledge with the next generation of horse enthusiasts.
SHOW JUMPING
Jamie-Lee began riding at the age of 7 years old, making her short stirrups debut at 8 years old. Constant focus and dedication brought Jamie at the age of 15 years old, to the Royal Winter Fair in 2008 for the first time in the Children's Hunter division with her horse named Callaghan being named Quebec Champion.
After much success in the hunter ring, Jamie decided to move up into the jumper ring and found the horse who is the reason behind the Allardyce Farm, Spencer. She focused on the equitation division from the age of 16 to 21. During those years, Jamie took on a 5 year old mare named Harley. By the time Harley was 6 years old, she won the CET medal at Bromont international, finishing second in Quebec and again, qualified for the Royal Winter Fair.
She then furthered her jumping career with both Spencer and Harley reaching up to the 1.20m division. Jamie-lee knew it was her time to find a new partner in the ring.
Jamie-lee found her new partner, Usefull, through her current trainer, Francois Lamontagne in 2016.
Usefull and Jamie went off to Florida to compete at HITS Ocala where they ended their season 3rd in the open Farm Vet jumper class.
Spruce Meadows had always been on the bucket list but never would she have ever imagined actually going.
In 2018 Jamie claimed her professional status, and went off to Calgary with Usefull to compete at the Spruce Meadows Summer circuit, placing top 10 in every single class through the whole circuit.
A DEDICATED COACH
Jamie-Lee began her riding school in 2013 and since then it has expanded into her also offering guided trail riding.
She has a riding school of 23 horses and ponies and her main mission is to share her passion with everyone who comes to the Allardyce Farm.
Teaching all levels of riding, Jamie will make sure to find out what your goals are, and achieve them. Whether you are looking to purchase your first horse or you are just looking for another hobby, Jamie is there to help you find the right match and program.
